I was recently contacted by the crew at Ozeri Corporation to see if I’d like to review the Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series BP5K Digital Blood Pressure Monitor. We’re always trying to keep up with our health at our house, so I jumped at the chance….always good to have such a device around for convenient, at-home use.
What’s unique about the Ozeri CardioTech Blood Pressure Monitor is both its small size and also how it measures blood pressure — on the wrist vs. upper arm. During winter months, it’s much easier to roll up a sleeve to the forearm than it is to shed down enough clothing for an upper arm to become exposed for measurement.
Another drastic way the Ozeri monitor differs from others on the market is its ability to talk you through the process. Yes — that’s right. This is a voice-guided blood pressure monitor. You’re told exactly how to use the monitor, including proper placement, as well as notification of correct arm/wrist elevation level. No more guessing!
The color-coded bars on the left side of the digital display show you effortlessly where your blood pressure measurement falls….normal, borderline, or elevated.
You can also digitally store 180 blood pressure readings (90 each for two users) for convenient reference over time.
Disclosure: I received the above mentioned product at no cost from Ozeri Corporation in exchange for my review. I received no other product or monetary compensation for this honest review.
