Draw Your “Beautiful Life”

One of the things that Chronicle Books does very, very well is journal book designing and publishing. Their one-of-a-kind books, good for drawing or writing in (or both) can herald such emotions in folks who love to chronicle everything, a person like myself.

I was given the chance to review a rather unlikely kind of autobiography journal, My Beautiful Life. This book will allow you to share your life in its present form, as well as memories of your past….not with written words, but with drawings.

This deluxe, hard-bound silvery-purple journal gives you a blank slate to sketch many facets of your life for others to enjoy….or simply to enjoy on your own for reflection. Each thick, white page has a title for your drawing, things such as:

- My favorite childhood game

- What inspires me

- Who I talk to on the phone

- My hands

- A change I’m glad I made

- My favorite condiment

As you can see, the prompts are random….some sweet and memory-conjuring, some totally nonessential but fun nonetheless.

For the nostalgic artists in your life, this is the perfect present.

You can purchase My Beautiful Life directly from Chronicle Books, or look for it at Amazon.com or bookstores near you.
