Educational Insights debuted several really cool toys and gadgets this spring…one of which is the Talking Electron Microscope!
This substantially sized microscope has built-in slides of over 180 close-up images of various microscopic things….from bacteria to plant leaves to animal hair. With the click of a button, hear five amazing facts about each image….then test your knowledge with built-in quizzes.
Zoom and in out easily to get a better view of each image. Large, pictorial buttons make the menus easy to navigate, and a volume control allows for use in different environments.
Educational Insights sent us the Talking Electron Microscope to try out. It has really come in handy with our schooling! Not only that, several questions have been answered in a visual, descriptive way…. Two weeks ago, R had her first case of strep throat. The microscope showed her a close-up view of streptococcus bacteria, answering many questions she had about this mysterious new illness she was dealing with!
The Talking Electron Microscope retails for $64.99 and is geared for kids ages 8-12. You can order it directly from Educational Insights or look for it wherever their products are sold.
Win it!
