Brand new from Uncle Milton’s Toys is a line called Tarantula Planet! This super creepy line features sound activated tarantulas — simply clap your hands to make them skitter across the floor! The faster you clap, the faster they go. Their eerie light-up eyes only intensify the scare factor.
With Tarantula Planet, there’s no need for remote controls…all they need to run here and there is your applause. They’re perfect for just playing with….as well as scaring friends and family!
Uncle Milton sent us a couple of Tarantula Planet toys to try out. We received the ultra-blue Octane “The Racer” and Spike “The Rocker.” The kids have had a blast letting them race across the kitchen and foyer floors!
Of course, the tarantulas have also been amusing the family pets, who aren’t quite sure whether they’re real or not….

Also, to kick off the new line, Uncle Milton has created a Tarantula Planet Fan page on Facebook and announced a cool video contest. Going on now through April 15th, 2011, the “Creepy Scare” video contest challenges fans to create and post “creepy scare” videos of the Tarantula pets. Prizes will be awarded for the best videos.
