A super fun way to teach/learn letters and numbers!

Chicka2pkSSTDVD-NSJust out from Scholasic/NewVideo is a duo pack of DVDs in the award-winning Scholastic Storybook Treasures series. This set is all about letters and numbers!

For the first time, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Chicka Chicka 1,2,3 are packaged as a set! Chicka Chicka Boom Boom has been a long-time favorite of ours, and the melodic way that Scholastic tells this letter-ful tale is fantastic and fun. Then there’s Chicka Chicka 1,2,3, also by Bill Martin, Jr. (and illustrated by Lois Ehlert).

Six more stories come alive on these disks, plus three bonus stories, totaling over 2 hours of letter and number-learning fun: Emily’s First 100 Days of School, How Much is a Million?, and Blueberries for Sal, just to name a few! Notable narrators debuted on this collection include Catherine O’Hara and Diana Canova. All in all, the stories on this 2-DVD set have won a combined total of 22 awards!

You can purchase this new set from Scholastic/NewVideo for just $19.95. (At that price, why not buy a couple of extras for Christmas gift for friends and family?)

(And remember, enter the promo code ” musereviews ” at checkout for 10% off of your total purchase from Scholastic/NewVideo!)

Win it! Thanks to Scholastic/NewVideo, one of you can win a copy of this 2-DVD Chicka Chicka Boom Boom/Chicka Chicka 1,2,3 set! Just tell me another one of Scholastic’s Storybook Treasures DVDs (or sets) that you would love to have. I’ll close the contest next Thursday, November 12th, 2009 at 11pm EST. Sorry; US entries only. Good luck!

CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.

Congratulations to commenter #7, Rondah, the winner of this DVD duo!
