TykeLight GloMate — Helping make bedtime less daunting (and more fun)!

For a few years now, we’ve been a big fan of the TykeLight Jr. by Mobi Technologies. I stumbled across the kid-friendly nightlight on Amazon and ordered one. It’s still going strong. Our son has passed it down to our daughter. I just can’t say enough about the TykeLight Jr. I even bragged about it in a recent “Works for Me Wednesday” post on Muses of Megret.

Well, Mobi has come out with a terrific, above-the-rest “sequel” to the TykeLight Jr.. Let me introduce to you the newest “glow buddy” on the block: The TykeLight GloMate!

The GloMate glows in three different colors: Blue, red, or green, but it ALSO cycles through a rainbow of colors at the push of a button.

The GloMate is a winner of the iParenting Media Award. Its silky-smooth exterior and cuddle-perfect size make a perfect nighttime buddy for your little one. It’s suitable and easy to use for ages 2 and up. Our four-year-old has nicknamed him “Mr. Special” and uses him for after-bedtime book browsing and as a fun accompaniment to middle-of-the-night bathroom trips. The color modes are easily switched with the use of an easy-to-find toggle button on the base.

The GloMate, like its predecessor, stays lit for up to 10 hours per charge. (No more nightlight malfunctions when the power goes out!) To recharge, you or your child can simply place it gently back on its base. It’s completely safe with no attached cords once it is off its base. The lights are cool-burning LEDs which mean there’s no risk of heat-based injuries.

I like how there are three different settings – especially the 15 minute dimmer!

The TykeLight GloMate would be so great! Another product that looks amazing is the MobiCam AV – I would love to know if my younger daughter has fallen asleep okay and if my older daughter is in her bed like she is supposed to be by just looking at them on the monitor, the TV or the computer! Thanks!

These are really cool and I like the dimmer feature. If my son had a light on all night he’d probably never go to bed, but with the dimmer he’d know that when the light went out reading time was over. Very cool product, I’m bookmarking it for a possible Christmas/birthday present!

I like how you can cuddle with it because it is safe and uses heat-free LEDs.

I would find the ultimate digital thermometer super useful.

The Mobi-Cam would be super fun to own…I could spy on my daughter and make sure she is sleeping! I love the tykelight because my daughter is 2 1/2 and is scared of the dark and she would LOVE to have a nightlight!

I LOVE that it’s rechargeable. In the summer, we sleep outside sometimes. My son would love to take the GloMate along!

I love that you can pick it up from the base and take it around with you. I also like that it sounds like it’s actually bright enough to be useful! Ever since our baby moved to her own room, I’ve been looking for a nightlight that will allow me to actually SEE when I have to go into her room in the middle of the night.

I would find the MobiCam®AV very useful. There are so many times when we are places (especially camping) and I would love to be able to see what my son is doing and see when he wakes up from his nap.

I like that it is safe for kids to hold. It looks like a toy so kids are going to want to pick it up. Very cute!

I could really use the mobi cam

We love the Mobi Glowmate, it so fun for teaching kids colors too and really promotes night time sleep.

I love that it has a 15 second on it.

I would love the MobiCam AV system. whenever I want to peek in on our little one to see if she’s fallen asleep, I’m afraid of waking her, so this would be wonderful for us.

My DS really loved these GloMates when I showed them to him. I could really use the Universal GPS Vent Mount. This is exactly the kind of thing I have been looking for to make my GPS more useful!

I also like the Mobi GPS – that would be really helpful for trips!

i like that it uses LED lights so it doesn’t produce any heat. Also that it changes colors, i have an infant so that would be much more comforting to her than just one solid color.

Oh my, I absolutely love these! My son has to go to bed every night with a night lite on so he would love these! I also like the fact that it has a dimmer switch so I can allow him to keep it on all night. Thanks for a great giveaway
