Did you know that it’s National Recess Week?

Cartoon Network encourages schools, homeschoolers, and parents to “get animated” and get moving this week, outside if at all possible! With our snow quickly melting and our stir-craziness at its peak, that’s just what the kids and I are going to do!

To help make outdoor (or indoor) exercise, play and movement a whole lot more fun, why not supplement it with lively music!

One of Putumayo Kids’ Playground CDs would be the perfect soundtrack!

Putumayo Kids’ Playground collection CDs are jam-packed with upbeat sounds for dancing and playtime. The first CD in the series, World Playground, was released in 1999 and continues to be a favorite today, ten years later!

What’s more, European Playground will debut in May and Picnic Playground will arrive in July. A “Putumayo Presents Picnic Playground” concert tour is planned for this summer, as well.

Putumayo Kids is the children’s and educational division of Putumayo World Music, with a goal of introducing children to other cultures through music. Putumayo Kids is a truly global record label, with millions of CDs sold in more than 100 countries around the world. I’ve bragged about Putumayo Kids before….and I must say their Playground CD selections are among our family’s favorites!
