When our two children were infants, our “bouncy seat” was indispensable. The vibration soothed them when they were fussy, and the rocking kept them happy when they kicked and waved their little arms. I loved putting it beside me where I was in the house….while I cooked, while I read, while I paid bills.

One thing is for sure: If The First Years’ Kickin’ Coaster would have been available when I was registering for baby gear, it would have been my top pick. Here is a bouncer seat that serves as other things at the same time….a musical entertainer, a vibrating seat, PLUS a seat on a track that slides up and down when baby kicks! It is a great progression towards strengthening those tiny leg muscles in preparation for crawling and walking.

The Kickin’ Coaster was an absolute snap to assemble, and I marveled at how trendy the colors and fabrics were. I asked a good friend of mine, Sara, if she wouldn’t mind testing out the Kickin’ Coaster at her house, as she has a four-month-old daughter who would be a prime candidate for this fun seat. She gladly agreed.

“I am thrilled to try “The First Years Kickin’ Coaster” with my
daughter Ava. At 6 months old, Ava is constantly in motion; grasping, rolling and kicking. The seat is easy to assemble and use. We adjusted the seat to the shortest length since our girl has short, chubby legs. Ava settled right in, and I liked the soft pillow supporting her head. Once she was restrained, we turned on the music. Ava was immediately drawn to the lights on the kick panel that twinkled with the playful sounds. Our 3 year old, Lucas, was drawn to the bouncy toys. It took her a few minutes to realize the cause and effect relationship between kicking and seeing the lights and hearing the music. But once she caught on, Ava loved it!

“I like the different settings on the control panel. Depending upon how active Ava is feeling, I can set the music as playful, soothing or rewarding. The auto-off feature is also great since Lucas likes to turn the music on when we are in another room. This feature saves our batteries!

I love that it is not only a bouncer but that the baby can push themself up and down.

I think it’s great that it can grow with your child. It’s not just a bouncy seat for the first few months of life but can still be used at the child starts moving around more.

I like that it has a volume control. I can’t stand baby things that have really loud music/noises and no way to turn them down. This seat looks really neat.

I like how this has so many applications – you can get a whole bunch of uses out of one item! (saves space!)

I think it’s great that the Kickin Coaster can be used to help soothe babies to sleep (like a bouncer)…multi-purpose; love that.

I have never seen a product quite like this, it is so well thought-out! I love that it “grows” with the child and has so many uses in one!

My little one is alll legs. They are always flying. He is only 7 weeks old but he’s so strong.. he needs this to keep entertained.. plus we are on a VERY limited budget right now..so PLEASE pick me…… please please please…

we are a very musical family, so the fact that there are two types of music with six songs really appeals to me! i also like that it is for babies up to 25 pounds.

The volume control! I have issues with loud kids things. This is perfect.

My facorite features are the 8 adjustable positions and the removable teether rattle.

I like how it’s an activity seat. My girls have both been kickers/standers, so I’m sure they would/would have loved this!

i like that it’s a natural motion

I am really impressed with this product. Finally a company has figured out that babies take up a lot of room with all their stuff and there just isn’t enough room to have a stationary bouncer and an exersaucer in the living room at the same time. I really like that this product can serve multi purposes and grow with your child so he/she doesn’t outgrow it so fast and it can be used from birth. Thanks learning curve…

This seat looks pretty great. I like that it has different modes, that it comes with a removable infant head rest… and I’m quite sure I’d appreciate the volume control!

I just like it’s main feature – the kickplate. We had a toy similar when my youngest was a baby – once he figured out that he was causing the balls to roll & lights to come on, he got very excited to play. It was a great way for me to get dishes done!!

I like that it does more than one thing and saves floor space. I also like that it has both playful and soothing music so you can use it for both times

I love the fact that it gives babies a chance to really use their little leg muscles. My son was always trying to “stand” on us when he was little, and I think this will be a great product for the new baby when it gets here!

soothing vibrations

I love that it has multi-level volume control! That means we can turn down the volume while big sister is napping.

I like that it glides with your child. It gives your child exercise instead of just a seat to put them in.

My 2-month old who already likes to push with his legs would love the coaster on this chair!

I like the fact that they baby can grow with this seat! I can use it as a soothing infant seat soon after the baby is born, but then use it as an activity seat after several months! I’m liking this product the more I look at all the features!

Mulit level volume control is my favorite feature. Most baby products have on or off and the sound can either be too loud or too quiet. It’s nice that you can choose the level you desire.

I have twin girls and one just loves to kick and kick, but she cannot reach the toys above her head to kick them. I love that she will likely love this better than what we have at home already, that she can kick it too!!

I love the multi-level volume is a great feature. I wish more toys/products had this option

How cool that this has two kinds of music: soothing and playful! This makes it a great option for when baby wants to move and for winding-down times. My three week old would LOVE to grow into using this soon!

I like that you can control the volume leval. Most of our baby gear only has on & off.

I like the 2 separate seats. One for soothing and one for playing

My sister just had a little guy in December and we already know he likes motion.
This is so great because it grows with him as he ages and it allows him to bounce up and down against the board as he gets bigger so it helps develop his leg muscles.

the feature that i like is that it is a baby-activated glide.

The features I like best are that it holds up to 25 lbs. and is stationary, helps develop skills and has music to soothe the lil’ ones.

I love that a baby can kick back and still be safe in the seat. My son has started to do this in his regular bouncer and now it is o longer safe for him to sit there even tho he enjoys it. I also loves that it grows with the baby extending its usage for much much longer.

What a fantastic multi-purpose baby seat!

Oh how cool! I have not seen a bouncy seat like this one! I have a 3 month old baby boy and he LOVES to kick his feet. So, my favorite feature would be how interactive this bouncy seat is. The baby can kick and activate the music. Love it!

This is a very cute bouncer!!! The one I have is very old and I got it from someone who was giving it away. I am in my first trimester and dont have nearly the things I need for a baby!! This would be my first baby and I would really love to give them everything that I can!!! It is an exciting thing to go through, and I just want our baby to have eveything that they deserve!!

This coaster seems like a guiltless way to take care of more than one child at a time, it is interactive, so I would feel like my newborn would be entertaining himself, and growing, learning, and developing his abilities at same time. Also, I would be more able to tend to their older sibling’s needs. Unlike a baby swing it is not a passive form of entertainment! Great Idea, us moms say THANKS!

I’ve never had a bouncy seat, and didn’t feel I needed one with my daughter. But now I have a fussy one-month-old, and I think he (and therefore, I) would love the vibration of this seat. And I think the glide feature would make this seat entertaining for babies a lot longer than a typical bouncy seat would.

It looks like baby will have a ball, I just wish there was one big enough for me!

Awesome in developing muscle tone and early exercise habbits in babies with the glide motion.

I like that the baby-activated glide helps develop core and leg muscles…while having fun! It enourages movement rather than just laying there.

I love the fact that all the reviews state this is a great buy. This on top of all the developmental pluses is a definate need for my child.

The great thing about this is that not only does in viberate but your baby can also kick the pannel and the seat glides up and down. plus it has music and fun things to look at while they work on makeing their legs stronger.

My 3 month old son has a bouncey seat but since he loves to kick we put the seat up agest the couch and he kicks on that. I think this would be a great pruduct for him. Plus I have 20 month old and can’t be in two places at once. So,this seat will help sooth my son while a take care of my daughter.

I’m expecting my first Grandson in July and have been looking for something like this and with all the positive comments I will shopping for this.
