Personalize it…with Frecklebox.

As a child, there’s just something about seeing your name in print. (Though really, does it ever get old?) As a child grows and begins to know who he/she is as a person, and that he/she has a unique name, AND as he/she learns to recognize, spell it, write it, you simply can’t showcase the name too often.

My children love their names…in fact, many of their favorite stuffed animals are named after themselves, no less. Since my children also have less common names, I try my best to find personalized products for them whenever possible. Though I usually can’t find their names on a spin-rack of sippy cups at my local drugstore, I know that if I custom order something online, I can add their names, no problem at all.

Frecklebox is a company who knows just how important a child’s name can be. Scott and Mark, Frecklebox’s founders, are dads themselves. They succeeded at creating a selection of entertaining, educational, above-the-rest products for kids that are….you guessed it….fully personalized.

What caught my eye first were their books. Several cute titles to choose from — there’s bound to be one to fit your little one’s interests and personality!

It doesn’t stop there. There are numerous other ways to create sentimental, personalized gifts for the little people in your life at Frecklebox:

Posters

Coloring books

Even sturdy, canvas growth charts.

Frecklebox sent G a personalized race car placemat! He has never been more thrilled to sit down at the table for a meal.

placemat

And our daughter is soaking up the “My Name Is…” book we received. She softly smiles as she flips through and sees various animals and other items from nature spelling out her name page after page.

Me? I was overwhelmed at the courteous customer service…as well as the exceedingly prompt shipping. And the quality of the products surpass others. I believe this placemat may very well last into G’s adult years, even despite his customary, less-than-pristine eating habits!

Don’t overlook Frecklebox next time you have a special birthday boy or girl to buy for….or for those crowning achievements you wish to celebrate….or even “just because.”

Win it! Frecklebox has generously offered one of you a choice of any one of their personalized specialty items! Simply browse around Frecklebox’s selections for a while, then come back here and tell me, in one comment, which product you’ll choose if you win! (One comment per person; US entries only.) I’ll close the contest next Thursday, February 12th, 2009 at 11pm EST. Good luck!
