Cocoa came to live at our house for the holiday season. She’s a charming little elf…..but a wee bit mischievous (can you tell?). She’s having fun with the kids, biding time till Santa comes and takes her back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve night.
She’s only awake and moving around while we’re all sleeping….and she’s so hyped up on sugar, it’s known that she only needs one small hour of Zzz’s herself. We’ve woken up to finding Cocoa in a bunch of random predicaments and adventures. Why, just last week she had a knock-out, throw-down snowball fight with a couple of the kids’ teddy bears:
She’s a lot of fun to have around, it’s true….R carries her around and narrates our comings and goings in great detail into her tiny, pointed ears…..but we’re having to keep our eye on her. She’s very excited about Christmas, and loves to have fun.
Maybe she can come to your house next year.

(Pppsssst! Parents: Here’s the scoop. Cocoa was thought up and created by Lisa Huckemeyer. Her adorable “elf delivery” business is called Elfing Around and is probably the cutest I’ve seen in this realm of this type of product. It’s not just a product — it’s an experience. I was super lucky and won my Elfing Around package through a blog contest….but I love it so much I see I am going to have to order the year 2 add-on package next year to continue this magical fun. Buy it now, if you like, for your own kids or for a charming gift — but definitely bookmark it to go back to next year as you begin to think about Christmas!)
