Who else has children who adore nursery rhymes, folk tales, and fairy tales? My two love them — and a couple of them stand out more than others, stories that they could hear me read over and over without growing tired of them (The Three Bears and Jack and the Beanstalk).
Who else among you loves the artwork of Mary Engelbreit? Her work is so recognizable….and her whimsical characters and detailed patterns and embellishments are popular everywhere.
What if I told you that classic nursery tales and Mary Engelbreit’s illustrations have been combined into one fantastic storybook?
It’s true. This lovely, hardbound volume is a quintessential classic, a must-have for all pint-sized children’s bookshelves in nurseries and playrooms everywhere. Twelve recognizable tales are re-told and illustrated with classic Engelbreit style and elegance. I can imagine what a memorable baby gift this would be! Or even a Christmas gift for the book-loving little guy or gal who easily becomes immersed in very detailed, very in-depth illustrations (I know my two do).
Take a look inside, if you wish. Magic awaits you!

Puss In Boots!
WOW talk about good timing! Just last night hubby and I were talking to our girls about Hansel and Gretel. They have never heard the story. We looked through all of our books and to our dismay not one of them had the story in it. This would be a wonderful win for not just our girls but form Mommy and Daddy too.
My granddaughter would love to hear The Ugly Duckling. Ducks are her favorite animals right now!
My kids would totally want to read “The Three Little Pigs” first. That’s their absolute FAVORITE story ever!!! Great giveaway – thanks!
The city mouse and the country mouse is a great story!
I think she’d want to read The City Mouse and The Country Mouse.
The Three Little Pigs
The Gingerbread Man. This week I recalled that it was one of the books my grandmother (now suffering with dementia) used to read it to me with the greatest voices.
