I Spy….something fun!
I have a super neat item to tell you about today. Have you heard of I Spy Bags? The I Spy book series has been all the rage for years now — and now I Spy Bags are jumping onto the scene! It’s a tangible manipulative toy that entertains for minutes on end. I say this because I know firsthand — our I Spy Bag goes with us everywhere.
The cutest I Spy Bags can be found at Those Greathouse Women’s Etsy shop and online store. As if the product concept weren’t fun enough all by itself, Those Greathouse Women have put this game into various shapes — fun, fun designs your kids will love!
I ordered the alphabet I Spy Bag last Easter to tuck into G’s Easter basket. Now that his sister is older, she’s been enjoying it just as much as he does.
I love that the items to find within the bag are printed onto fabric and sewn right onto the back — no extra tags to keep sight of.
Those Greathouse Women boast safety in their products (the polypropylene pellets inside the bags are BPA/DEHP free), and also have several “green” bags as well (several of the fleece choices are made of EcoSpun fabric, made from recycled bottles)!
Take a look at some of the other adorable I Spy Bags they create:
Adorable!
These would make great stocking stuffers, wouldn’t they? Or how about using them as creative party favors?
Win it! Those Greathouse Women is offering up one of their Peppermint Candy Stocking Stuffer I Spy Bags to one lucky winner!
All you need to do is visit their Etsy shop or online store and browse around a little. Come back here and tell me, in one comment, another I Spy Bag you “spied” and liked (or any other item they sell!). I’ll wrap up the contest at 11pm EST next Friday, November 7th, 2008 and announce the winner the next day. U.S. addresses only. Good luck!

I like the ladybug one. I have not seen this before and am intrigued, thinking that this is a great idea for the doctor’s office, so hubby can stop freaking about my 2 year old playing with the toys! LOL

Wow! these are so cool and my kids would love them. I think the robot one is very cute but if I were buying one, I’d probably get a super sized one only because I know my kids and my son especially would do this so fast – the more to find the longer it keeps him occupied.

My favorites were tied – I couldn’t choose between the cute little bird bags and the party favors set. That is such a better idea for goodbags than candy.
