Another one of our Christmas countdown activities? Something G’s been begging to do for weeks: Have dinner by candlelight. (Well, and Christmas tree light…it just wouldn’t be right to unplug the tree before bedtime.)
Though it wasn’t a traditional meal (we had Indian food, with a bottle of curry powder passed around like salt…go figure…our kids love it!), it was homey, festive, and old-fashioned….especially with the classic carols playing!

We jsut did this ourselves last night while enjoying Oven Baked French Toast. Miss H thought it was so much eating by candlelight and listening to Christmas carols.
