Seasonal tree art

As the season changes right outside of our window (giving us a daily dose of beautiful colors to view), we’ve been talking and learning about seasons. One of the kids’ favorite art projects of late was torn paper seasonal tree art.

Our Horizons preschool curriculum gave us this idea, and we kind of added to it a little. We used a reproducible bare tree template provided by Horizons, but you could recreate this very easily with a simple clipart image like this one.

Torn construction paper in varied colors, as well as pulled and puffed cotton balls, create the four season trees.
