Last week G and I made a fruit pizza. We used this recipe. It called for a homemade sugar cookie crust instead of the refrigerated dough — which is totally worth the extra effort, in my opinion.
It was an all-day affair. The cookie crust took a long while to cool — and we finally got around to decorating it after his naptime. Rainey shared in the loot once she woke up from her own nap. It wasn’t around long. We quickly discovered that fruit pizza is one of G’s, R’s AND Ken’s favorite desserts ever. What a colorful treat!…and a terrific use of the summer’s finest bounty!
