WFMW – Electronic notes, lists, & journaling
This week’s WFMW has to do with one of my favorite things to do ever: Make lists. There’s a simple, free, easy-to-navigate program that helps you manage, organize, and preserve your lists, notes, and even journal entries with ease.
Evernote was introduced to me by my super-smart (and increasingly organized) husband a few months back. Great for note-taking while talking on the phone, jotting down quick grocery lists (to be synced to your mobile device with ease), or keeping track of exercise routines and reps. Another great idea is to keep up with medicine dosing. Now we refer to the milliliter amounts per pound of weight given to us by our pediatrician whenever we need to administer some Children’s Benadryl, instead of having to call the pharmacy every time. (The bottle doesn’t give dosage information under a certain age/weight.)
I love Evernote for journaling. You can save the entries by name or by date (however you choose to tag it). It’s super easy to search for any lists, notes, or entries later on.
These tasks I’ve mentioned are just a fraction of all that Evernote can do, save, and recall.
And when you save and exit, your data is automatically synchronized across all of your predesignated electronic devices.
Not that there’s anything wrong with Post-It Notes, but this program will help you cut down on the paper clutter in your home even more.
Evernote works for me/us! Thanks for dropping by. Go read other great WFMW ideas at We Are THAT Family!

I love Evernote. It is also a wonderful way to save information from your web browser. Just select what you want to save, and press the Evernote button you’ve added to your bookmark bar. It then saves the text, along with the source’s link. Great too!
