Here’s a great little craft/activity that helps fill some time and entertain antsy hands during an afternoon lull or until dinner’s ready. We did this activity last year with Fruity Cheerios, but this year we used Trix cereal.
I cut out simple Christmas tree shapes out of construction paper and then dotted white glue all over. The kids had a race to see who could place Trix cereal pieces on every dot first.
G set right to work.
R decided it’d be more fun to eat the Trix rather than decorate with them. She ended up having to ask for a refill to finish her tree. :)
