We have been writing letters from Santa the last few years. The kids "know" that Santa's elves will come only at night if you put your envelope in the mailbox and within the next few days another letter will be dropped off-again at night by an elf. Saves the postage concern so far-they are still young. I usually type out the letter from Santa in red ink with a scrolled script. I am going to buy some cute paper this year. Last Christmas morning each of the kids had a personalized note in their stocking as well. BTW, Santa signs his letters Mr. C! The kids thought that was funny! Merry Christmas!! Great idea! My mom does this with my nephew and I have always thought it was super cute. My oldest is 9 though and has got wise to the whole letter thing though *grin*. I always enjoy stopping by to see what you and your family are up to. Have a great evening!
