Too hurried to even come up with a catchy title for this post.

This week has been insane — the amount of things I’ve tried to pack into one week is mindboggling.  I have to admit, school has been hit or miss this week, too, as we’ve run around like crazy (and also forfeitted it just to spend some wonderful hours outdoors in this beautiful weather).  So, alas, I have no photos to share with you, no craft projects to show to you this morning.

Today, I have to:

- Finish compiling, customizing, and crafting our two culture swaps hosted by Jo, so they can ship off first thing in the morning.

- Make out my grocery list for the week a day earlier than usual, because, tomorrow, we’re going clothes shopping.  For me.  I mean, it’s been two years since I’ve purposefully gone clothes shopping for me.  I’m not kidding.  Which is also why I need to…

- Research what in the heck is in style and in fashion for fall and winter.  Not that I follow fashion’s rules.  It’s more for showing me what I DON’T need to wear instead of what I DO need to wear.

- Continue working on October’s lesson plans and activities.  Yes, that’s right.  I have decided that mail-order, pre-made curriculum isn’t for me.  The kids are not that interested….and I’m finding I’m having to amend too much (or leave out even more) to fit our family’s needs.  I’ll explain more later.  Promise.

- Somehow get this all done in time for our 3-5pm playdate with our weekly playgroup.

WHEW.  So excuse me while I now go guzzle some caffeine and get moving.  I’ll let you know how it all got done — or if it doesn’t all get done, how disappointed I will be if I have to work on things WHILE watching tonight’s premiere of The Office and ER.  That just CANNOT happen.  Nope.  So here I go.

Good luck! I have decided to do my own curriculum for October as well – partly because it wasn’t all I was hoping it to be and partly to save $. I look forward to hearing your take on it. Enjoy your day!

good luck getting it all done – it’s been a busy week for us too…so much to get done and such limited time! :)

LOL. I’m laughing because you sound like me. I haven’t blogged this week because we’ve been so busy. And I desperately need some new clothes. Somehow everyone but me got what they needed for fall. I’m down to ONE pair of pants that fit and aren’t ripped or stained.

Cool site. I found you through WFMW. :)

I am really enjoying your blog, so I thought I would leave you another comment. We watch hardly any TV, but love to sit and watch The Office and ER every Thursday! We call it our laundry party because we also fold during that time. It is almost like a date, because all four kids are in bed!
