Birthdays come but once a year….
….so why not fill the entire day with special treats?
G awoke to the smells of birthday pancakes….dark chocolate M&Ms hidden inside, but still lots and lots of maple syrup!
And for Muffin Tin Monday meal tonight, we had a little birthday theme of our own going on. SO much fun to create! I was happy that the kids ate almost all of it — we’ve been back and forth all weekend, seeing tell-tell signs of sinus infections in progress, so it made me glad to see their appetites are picking up a bit — that’s a good sign.
(Left to right, top to bottom: Capri Sun, leftover birthday cake, frozen blueberries, grapes, Cheerios, pickles, carrots, bananas, cream-cheese-jam sandwich cupcake-style, Ritz crackers, cheese sunbursts, and more bananas.)

I love that your son got a G for his birthday pancake and even more fun that you added M & M’s inside! What a great birthday breakfast. I also love the cream-cheese-jam cupcake sandwich in your muffin tin. I’m sure your son had a great birthday!
